Promised so much and didn't deliver what a let down.
The bit I read appeared to show a good story in the making but it just lost it's way and rambled about without out any clear direction.
I found the writing not very good and could not engage with the characters- this may be that you need to read the first books before reading this.
The story it's self didn't make sense to me as I couldn't work out who was investigating what crime even though I worked out the ending by half way through. The ending just seemed to be there without any real exclamations, and a person dieing just gave a simple way out of getting rid of someone.
As to who the leading character was and what was going on in her life, have seen it done better.
Not sure if I will read the other books in the series.
