This story opens with seemingly normal family life, daughters visiting their parents with their families. Agnetta receives a phone call on the landline telephone she’s ensured remains active. Only one word is uttered, and everything changes. The seemingly kindly grandmother is transformed into a calculating woman, capable of shooting her husband dead.
There are a lot of characters and threads of the plot that have been introduced which makes it a bit confusing to start with. I imagine that as you get further into the story and more into it it comes together and makes sense.
I sometimes read books in this genre but it isn’t what I would choose normally. I think this will be quite a thrilling book with lots of twists and turns.
