Is grandma just fed up with her husband or is a more sinister secret at play?

The book opens up with Agneta cleaning up her grandchildren's mess whilst her daughter Lotta is strolling the gardens with her elderly father Stellen in the unnatural heat of May.

Whilst waving off her two daughters and grandchildren the old landline rings. Answering the phone with her surname ''Broman'' Agneta is met with the word 'Geiger', panicked Agneta rushes up stairs and pulls out a big black pistol and aims it at her husbands head.

''And she squeezed the trigger''

Leaving behind her belongs Agneta flees.

Amazing book with such compelling writing and a minimalistic but brilliant cover that ties in with the story. Gustaf Skordeman has managed to create a very compelling read that hooked the reader. Although the first few paragraphs are very dry the book jumps straight into action that shocks the reader into holding their breath. Overall the beginning of this book is very exciting and it would be my pleasure to read more of it.
