Well this is quite a teaser of a start, after a week looking after her grandchildren the protagonist receives a quick phone call that results in her shooting her husband and escaping her home. Elsewhere the communication has been picked up and it’s thought a terrorist will be reactivated and then the sexual crimes police officer who has been asked to investigate the murder. Lots of characters and an intriguing start
