The snippet given on the website was enough to make me read the 'first look' and blimey, what an opening. The opening chapter paints a picture of comfortable family life: sibling differences, arguing children, nervous in laws, but then what a dark turn it takes. I want (i need!) to know more. What dark secret has Agneta been keeping all these years. She suddenly becomes a different woman at the sound of one word. No longer a loving grandmother, but a trained killer - why? Is Geiger the one word that will start the war? Just a few pages in and there are already so many questions I have that need answering. This looks to be a gripping book and one I look forward to reading.
