I really found it interesting from the start the relationship between the main character and her husband, and why she was running. The idea of an elderly spy suddenly needing to flee pulls you in, especially with the details of not having updated equipment, and so on. The family finding out as well adds a twist. I'm curious what is going on entirely and how she is involved.
I was less convinced by the other characters introduced in the other preview chapters. For instance, the men based in Berlin seemed a bit stereotypical to me, and like they were written as a type cast.
I find the jacket to be eyecatching, but I'm not sure where the fingerprint really comes into things yet, beyond the fact that she is a spy and may need a new identity?
