I was drawn in by the cover artwork straight away - it really helps to set the scene for the story and offer that anticipation of mystery and suspense. The blurb captured my attention too and this looks to be a really unique and fresh new story. The writing is simple but straight forward and you can tell there are going to be plenty of twists and turns to the plot.
