Straight away in this novel snippet, the mystery is introduced. On a hot summer's day, Lotta (Agneta Broman) receives a mysterious phone call that leads her to shoot her husband in the head. Later on we see Lotta depart her home on the run. Later on we are introduced to a further two characters, Karla Breuer and Sara Nowak. Both of these women work within the government. I enjoyed the snippets of these characters very much. I think this excerpt is setting up for a very good novel.
