I could tell straight away from the book cover that the story will contain a gripping narrative. The intense scene that I read allows the reader to consider all the different possibilities of what could happen next. The way the character instantly killed her husband was shocking and definitely made me want to continue reading. It is clearly a surprising and mysterious novel that I am interested in reading further.
