The cover makes me think it's a detective story, where a detective will come across something odd and work it out. The little description next to the book makes me think it's not a detective story. It seems to be a story about a past life coming back to haunt the main character. When reading the First look everything becomes vague quite quickly and I'm invested. I want to read more to know what happens. I'm hooked.
