This book has more twists and turns than any switchback!
From the first few pages there is a murder and then the story starts to unravel and throughout the book you have a history lesson-learning or re-learning what you remember happened in the past and the reasons or possible reasons why certain decisions were made or not made.
To follow Agneta and the rest of the characters as the mystery unfolds is very intriguing and as you begin to think one thing something else happens and you are thrown into thinking something different.
I was enthralled with the historical knowledge and hope the facts as I read them are accurate but if not they just add weight to the whole story and in no way spoil it.
At times I did lose some of the characters-perhaps it was because the names were similar and unfamiliar-but right up and until the very last page I was hooked and really enjoyed the book finishing it in just three sittings!!!
