Good, but maybe a bit graphic for some

I enjoyed this book. I thought it was a genuinely good read. It was an interesting story with some massive twists and turns that I didn't see coming. Wasn't predictable at all! Well, in my opinion anyways. And I like that there were, in a way, multiple stories going on at once. You had the main story line - trying to figure out the mystery surrounding Geiger - but there was also great character development and you had that great insight into the main character and her family life, work life and past. You also had all the different insights and perspectives, like Sarah's, Lota's and Agneta's. Was interesting how their lives and stories entwined. And the conclusion of the tale was the biggest twist of them all. Truly did not expect it what do ever!!

However, while this book has a lot of positives and was an interesting read with characters you could really get invested in, I at times thought it was a bit graphic. There was a large portion of the book which depicted rape of young girls and I found this very tough to read and it may be off putting to a lot of readers. I feel like this book should have maybe contained some form of trigger warning.

But despite this issue, if you can stomach those tougher chapters, this is a great mystery, thriller, which even has some educational value too!!
