Sisters Lotta and Malin return to collect their children from their parents home after a trip away. There's lots going on in this book, told mainly from Sara's perspective, a childhood friend who was called in by a friend as she knows the family. Although works in the police, not this department, but ends up getting heavily involved in endeavouring to solve who killed Uncle Stellan and why. Family secrets revealed, that come as a shock, also in some ways explains some events of the past.
It's a great debut novel, definitely worth reading, for me personally I don't feel it's a book you could easily pick up and put down. I look forward to reading more from this author.
