This book drew me in and captured my attention and imagination right from the first few pages. It’s very unlike much of what I have previously read and actively chose for myself to read but I found it very enjoyable.
It had a relatively unusual plot line in my opinion and that probably added to my interest in this story. There are some quite strong themes that may act as triggers to some people.
There are some great characters in this book, multi layered and interesting to follow their stories.
This is definitely a book I’d be happy to recommend to others that like this genre. Finally just a note to acknowledge that the translation team did a great job.
