this book is ok, i think if you have more of an interest in the past, the war, and spies living in plain sight you may enjoy it more than me, i have a great first chapter that hooks you in, why would a old woman shoot her husband in the head after a mysteries phone call, however after that i felt there were a lot of added extra stories that didnt really add much to the main plot line, and there was not really enough details about some of the characters you you didn't really feel anything for them, it got quite dark toward the end in a way i didn't feel was necessary (or at least not in that level of detail) while there were some unpredictable moments most of it was not a massive surprise, overall as long as you are interested in undercover spices and the war you should enjoy this book on some level, while i like spy books this just didnt have enough actual action for my taste
