This was such a shame for me. My first impressions were that I thought “this is going to be good!” Lots of different story lines and characters, coupled with mysterious behaviour, should have been a recipe for greatness. However I was bitterly disappointed. There was too much waffling and going off topic in some areas, so much so that I got distracted and then bored, and then found it difficult to get back into the flow of the story. Plus the Swedish names of places kept slowing me down!
I was looking forward to finding out more about Agneta and why she killed her husband, about Sara’s connection with the sisters Malin and Lotta and if the secret service team would eventually catch the culprit or not.
I have to admit though, that I gave up halfway through. This book just didn’t hold my attention for long enough, didn’t have the pizzazz I was looking for.
