My first impression on the cover was that it was intriguing, giving the idea that it going to be a suspenseful novel. The hair on the floor could be representing the changes of identity the character Jules is going through, however this idea came to me after reading the novel. As for the colouring of the front cover, I believe it is very eye-catching and would easily be picked up on a book shelf. And if the person reads the blurb, I'm sure they will be as interested as I was, specially if they like suspenseful, thriller novels as much as I do.

I've heard of the author (E Lockhart) before, yet this would be the first extract or book I've ever read by this author. Yet he hasn't disappointed me. Reading the extract I was drawn in, the layout where it says: Begin Here made it interesting and I've never seen that done before which is very uniquely done. The character Jules is very interesting to me and honestly, it seems like she is a character you will understand more, the further you get along in the book. The concept of her being trained into this almost spy/hitman to get revenge is peculiar and one I'd like to know more about. Yet my main worry is that it will become confusing if Jules keep changing her identity or her looks. However from reading this extract I followed along easily and wanted to read on, such a shame it had to end so soon. (I need more!)

Overall I am a very big fan of thriller novels and this seems like one I would enjoy immensely. I'd love to read on and see what this novel will lead too. I will be considering buying this myself, just to find out more about Jules and because I've heard such great things about this author before. Therefore I'm giving this impression a rating of 5 stars, due to the eye-catching cover, the addictive extract which left me wanting more and because I'm curious to know what's next.
