The beggining is very dramatic, as well as the introduction to the first character. I was surprised at how the main characters are teenages, I would have expected them to be adults because of the mature themes in the book.

Jules and Imogens relationship changes dramatically throughout the book, due to Imogen becoming more distant towards Jules, and in retaliation, Jules acting out, and becoming more desperate because of this. The plot centres around these two, with a few important characters gradually being phased in and out.

From the blurb I thought the book would be more fictional, ('spies, villains ect,) but the book is written realistically, which caught me off guard.

As well as that, the plot layout is awkward to read, with most events being written in reverse order, all leading up the the end- the first chapter.

Overall, it's a good book to read, but with a few minor changes to the layout I think it could be better.
