Another amazing book by one of my favourite authors! I read We Were Liars first and picked up this because I enjoyed it so much. Very suitable for fans of Sue Wallman as they both have writing styles that are easy to read and concise. The story leads you down a path where you believe you know where the ending is going. However, you are completely turned on your head when the author completely flips your understanding of the characters and their motives. The tension was gripping as the protagonist's invented world clashes with the new one she has created for herself, and secrets stay secrets right up until the end. I couldn't put this book down once I had started reading and its easy style meant I wasn't sitting trying to climb through its pages.
