I wasn't overly sure what to expect with this book. I got the impression it was going to be about someone pretending to be something they are not. The title was a bit of a giveaway.... There was no way I could have see what was coming. I loved how the story near enough started at the end and worked its way backwards, especially when the chapters were backwards as well. At first I wasn't sure why it started at 18 and not 1 but it soon became clear. I thought this was very clever and the story was still easy to follow. I kept track the whole time. It was a much darker story line than expected but it definitely worked. There was just the right amount of detail included and time spent on each part of the story.
