I was hopeful I was going to like this book. It was something that appealed to me. The blurb spoke to me and I was so excited to get my hands to the ebook, but the moment that I started reading I just couldn't keep up. It was like I was trying to cross a highway and all the cars were zooming past, and nobody was letting me cross. Nothing made sense, and I couldn't keep any of the information in my head, which isn't ideal for a thriller.

What should have been keeping me on my toes, was aggravating me. I wanted to read this book, I thought it sounded so good, but the words didn't stick and I kept having to reread parts in hopes that I'd understand what was going on. But nothing helped. I think I got about five chapters in before I realised that this wasn't an ideal reading situation. I dnfed the book, and my brain felt so satisfied. I'm not sure if it's the writing, the storyline, or maybe something else. But I could not keep up with this book.
