As always, Emily Lockhart, has succeeded in the phenomenon that is scientifically referred to as a ‘heart gut-punch’. I’ve previously experienced this heart gut punch fiasco in every book of hers I’ve had the pleasure of reading. To name one, ‘we were liars’ was a particular heart punchy book if i do say so. Similarly to this one, I managed to read it in the space of 5 hours with little breaks in between.
I have always been a fan of Lockhart’s writing and she doesn’t fail to impress in this beautiful and mysterious book, Genuine Fraud, with her gorgeous writing style that I love and her complex and wonderful characters that she’s made me love in the small space of what? Two hundred pages? Not a small feat for an author and I commend her and recommend this book to you!
