When I initially read the synopsis, I thought that book was going to be about female spies, which was quite intriguing. However I was wrong, and it actually focuses on an anti-hero.

When initially opening the book it seems as if there was some printing error where the chapters starts with the largest number, but it is actually intentional, and adds to the plot. The story works it’s way back, showing what led to this point. You follow along the moral downfall of the main character. You see what she did, how she covered her tracks and as you continue to read on, you find out how this happened.

While reading this book, I honestly had mixed emotions and still do. The characters aren’t likable but you can’t help feel sympathetic towards the main character at times.

The book itself isn’t a difficult read, but the reversal of the timeline might be slightly confusing.
