I love this book. It's unique. The way the story unfolds from front to back means that we're always getting snippets of what has happened previously but never understanding.
I liked Jule as a protagonist because she breaks hegemony in so many places, and yet we hear the story from her point of few, so to us, she is always the victim, although as readers we can see where she is morally wrong.
I love E. Lockhart's writing style and she blew me away again in this book. I liked how the characters unfolded. I liked the overall idea of the plot.
I thought Jule was badass at first, and then as the book unravelled I saw who she really was and it confused me because I almost felt sorry for her despite what she'd done.
