This is the kind of book that you need to go into without knowing anything about the plot.

Similar to “we were liars” lockheart tells the story in a chronological flow of time that is disrupted by flashbacks.

Following the general story, you don’t know much of the protagonist, she holds her identity close and as the story unwinds we begin to follow her on her journey where we try to discover her motives.

The story was well written, interesting and extremely intense! Despite the perspective, it was not confusing at all, although it remained mysterious. I found the plot twists unpredictable and satisfying.

The characters were interesting and unique in a realistic way that did not take away from the depth of character reveal or developments, and that was the most enjoyable part!
