This book was the second E. Lockhart book I have ever read, ever since reading ‘We Were Liars’ I had extremely high expectations for this book, (go read we were liars if you haven’t already!!), sadly, this did not live up to my expectations. It was overall an okay book, there wasn’t really anything special to it.
This book follows two girls;
Imogen, an orphanage and a cheat and Jule a fighter and athlete.
A girl who refuses to be what society expects of her and a girl who refuses to be what she once was. A murder. Maybe two, possibly more. Their strong relationship. This book will keep you reading until you find out what happens next, it was a nice, small read, you can easily read it in a day, I just wish it had more of a wow factor.
