This book follows a girl on the run from her past and seemingly from her future, with a lot of bad stuff under her belt and a lot to come; we watch as she slowly seems to walk from grace.

I was so interested in this book when it came out; it seemed to be everything I was looking for, I wanted mystery and intrigue and to be blown away with reveal after reveal. Unfortunately; like every other E.Lockhart book I’ve ever read, I found this book really uninteresting.

I thought the premise of this book sounded incredible but the writing was far too whimsical for my liking. The fact I didn’t notice that the story was moving between different times, even though the dates were written at the start of each chapter, I think shows what a disconnect I had from this book.

Don’t get me wrong, this book wasn’t totally awful it was just forgettable and uninteresting, shame when the synopsis made this sound so good.
