This story at first took me a minute to get into in, there is more than one monologue happening, so if like me you sometimes struggle to follow along this book can be a bit choppy with changes. However, after a good few pages, the storyline is so thrilling, I got totally hooked in. The characters are so well portrayed that I found myself getting really invested in them and their story.
The book was a shorter read - it was one I could finish in a week (I read every night, and can read quickly), but there was so much happening! It wasn't rambling on, or repetitive, it was just so exciting, with so many good details.
I'll definitely recommend this to all my adult friends that love reading thriller/crime/mystery. I would have to say that it is quite a basic book to read, you don't need any background knowledge, its not in a series, and the language is pretty understandable for most adults. Would give it a solid 8/10.
