I was totally flummoxed trying to work out what on earth this novel is all about. I had never heard of a glow up before. It turns out that it is a positive personal transformation, which makes you more mature, confident and attractive. I like the concept of this story which poses the question that should you glow up to obtain the approbation of another person or to feel better in yourself. This is an excellent way to get young people to ponder this point, so I think this will be an enjoyable and thought provoking read.
