I gave this book to my 9 year old step daughter and she devoured it! She loved the style of it being a diary and fully engaged with all the characters, I was getting nightly updates of what was going on.
I think the age range for the book would be anywhere between 9 and 13 and more than likely girls as there is a lot of drama about make up, boys and school!
I would definitely recommend this book and believe it could turn anyone who isn’t a keen reader into an avid one!
There is also the odd picture thrown in to help the imagination along if this the first time someone has read a bit of a more grown up book!
From flicking through the book the writing style is very personal and like the writer is talking directly to you and I think kids really get drawn to this as it makes them feel included.
