It covers some of the issues that teenagers may face, including worrying about her appearance, crushes and boys, secrets and friendships, and is told in a comical way so that girls can understand their feelings in a more relaxed, normal way. It's laid out in an Informal diary style of writing, which allows the author to discuss feelings and emotions more openly and freely.
