Glow Up, Lara Bloom was an enjoyable and inspiring read. I love that the book encourages young girls to be confident and happy with the way that they are, without feeling the need to change themselves for someone else. In a social media world, this book is just what every young and impressionable young girl needs to read. The cover is bright and catches your eye whilst the book name is modern and is in tune with its target audience. A light hearted read that at times had me giggling and at other times pulled at my heart strings and brought a tear to my eyes. Whilst reading this book I felt like I was alongside Lara on her self confidence journey and being able to read the outcome of her self confidence journey was a treat. I would recommend all teens and young people to give this book a read! I hope the author brings out further books as a sequel as I’m sure it would be a hit!
