What a brilliant read, it had my laughing out loud and nearly a few tears. Lara is a fourteen year old just going into year 10 , she’s also the schools girls football captain ( she absolutely adores football, and she’s good at it) . The story starts at the end of the summer holidays just as Lara and her friends are getting ready to go back to school. She has three really great friends and they do almost everything together, one of the few flaws that Lara has is she’s constantly worried about her hair she thinks it’s always against her, when she should just embrace it and find a way to love it. Lara and her friends don’t mind school except sienna (she was once Lara’s best friend) she acts all innocent but she’s truly not a very nice person especially to Lara but she’s so sneaky with it that it’s hard to find out why. There is also a bit of a love story but I was disappointed she didn’t end up giving jay a chance
