This was a real teenager angst book I read it then passed it on to my grandaughter for her opinion.she lived it too. The age old love and waiting game came through with Laura doing herself up much to the disgust of her friends. Haven’t we all done this as teenagers? It took me back! I loved the way it was in diary firm as if we were living each chapter with her. What would happen next? Will they or won’t they fall in love? A real teen book with laughter joy and love. She comes across as a bubbly happy teenager with all the attributes of a teen first crush. Caisson comes through as the Greek goid every girl is waiting for. The way Laura is starry eyed and how she could capture the love of Caiden is lovely. Years ago it was true romance in a weekly teen magazine this seems to be all of that and I really thought it was a fun book and a true reflection of what it’s like to be young.
