Unfortunately this book was not for me. I expected it to be a little annoying as it's supposed to be a teenage girl expressing her woes through journalling on an app. I just found her to be really annoying! I think it would be a good book for teenagers whose woes matched those in the book but for me as a grown adult it just felt so superficial and didn't really get to the bottom of any real issues. I did like the fact that it was journalling/ diary writing for a digital age as the lead character was using an app, mainly because her brother found her physical diary. But that alone did not save this book for me.
I think the front cover is eye catching and I think teenagers would pick this one up of the shelf but I don't think it'll further their minds in anyway. An easy read for the right age range of children.
I wouldn't choose to read anything from this author again.
