I was really pleased to receive a copy of this book and to read it.
First of all I have to say that I love the cover. It is so bright that it will easily stand put amongst other books!
I would not really class this book as Young Adult as I think it will really appeal to girls aged 10 to 14 maybe a bit older.
The book is about a teenage girl Lara, and her close friends. It is told in the first person by Lara as if she was writing an online journal.
There are some really funny bits especially as Lara tends to be a bit accident prone.
Although I am a more mature lady I still really enjoyed this book. It took me back to my teenage years and reminded me of how much importance teenage girls can put on "looking right" and being popular when in reality none of that really matters.
I think the book is very well written and also gets across the message really well, that it's OK to be who you are and not to try to change that just so you are accepted by people. True friends will love you for who you are and this book shows that message really well.
