My initial thought when reading the first impression and premise for this book was that no family is perfect- but the Gogartys are completely dysfunctional! Grandmother Mille is already a particular favourite of mine! I think humour is exactly what everyone needs right now.
I always really enjoy books that are written from the perspectives of different characters. I feel it helps give depth and richness to more characters. So I was really excited that this book has used that style.
The first impression left me smiling and wanting to know more about what happens to the entire family. Will Millie and Aideen ever change their ways? Will Kevin’s life start looking up?
The cover is light-hearted and funny, a perfect fit for this book!
