As soon as I saw the cover and then read the blurb I knew I would want to read this book. anything that is compared to Caitlin Moran and the Derry Girls has a lot to live up to, but the opening chapters suggests that this book will do that. The book has so many things that I enjoy when reading: it is set in Dublin, one of my favourite places to go; it is written from the perspective of three different characters, this always adds depth to a book and it is fun and interesting to see the same events from the different points of view especially the three in this book across a wide age range; someone refusing to grow up. As someone in their 50s who inside still feels as thought they are in their 20s i love it when someone refuses to grow up just because they are growing old!
This is definitely a book that appeals to me and I look forward to reading it, i know i will enjoy it.
