This book doesn't necessarily shout 'exciting' or 'thriller' at me but it sounds like it might be a feel-good read and one of those that could cheer you up on a good day. Definitely sounds like it has an interesting mix of characters and I'm intrigued as to how they all 'fit together' in one story
