Set in scenic Dublin, Good Eggs, captures the warmth and quirkiness of three generations of an Irish family.
A fun filled novel of second chances, schemes, adventures and mishaps that kept me turning the pages to find out what happened next.
Loved the characters, all individual in their own right, yet melded together seamlessly. Dad Kevin, unemployed looking after his senile mother, Millie as best he could, whilst his wife worked all hours to support the family. Twin daughters who were like chalk and cheese and hard to control. Calm soon descended into chaos after the arrival of a home aide to support Kevin's Mum, Millie - who turns out to be someone she's not
I found it to be a delicious Irish soap opera romp - the latter half of the book about a trip taken by grandmother and granddaughter and their determination to each live their lives their own way.
A much needed light hearted story great to alleviate the boredom of lockdown.
