A Fun Read

The book looked like fun which is why I chose to read it. Having read it I'm pleased to say that this was indeed the case. It essentially tells the story of the Gogarty family from the point of view of three of its members. Grandma Millie, her son Kevin and his daughter Aideen. You get the usual quirks and everyday ups and donws faced by most families as well as a few existential issues. There are also a few page turning incidents thrown in for good measure as well as some powerful highs and lows to stir things up a bit. If I were to draw a comparison, imagine a combination of Modern Family and Neighbours readjusted to take place in Ireland. I won't go into the end too much to avoid spoilers, but I found it a bit random althogh I still enjoyed reading it. Overall a well written, pleasant experience. I would also like to thank Readers First for the free copy
