Where to begin! I have had an amazing time reading this funny, light hearted but gripping book. The character themselves are: Millie, the thief grandmother who's POV's has had me crying with laughter, Kevin the stepson and Aideen who I find the most accurate in the portrayal of a moody teenager!
You can feel the love and time that was put into this book, with the plot and the character having much thought behind them, and being oddly perfect to imagine. I can't put into words how much it screams 'real life' while being nothing like it at the same time. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good laugh as well as well written and developed book. It is a book I can see myself rereading when I need to smile.
The cover of the book is one thing I find beautiful but knowing the characters now also makes me smile just seeing the art on the cover. I feel like it reflects what's inside very well, and is a stunning addition to my shelves.
