This seemed like a book I might enjoy from the beginning and I was intrigued to see what it had in store for me. My thanks go to readers first, the author and publishers for the advance copy I received.
This book follows Millie, the grandma Kevin, the son and Aideen, Kevin’s daughter. Each character has their own issues and as the novel goes on we begin to learn a bit more about them and their root causes. I really enjoyed reading this book, I found it humorous in places and the characters were multi layered so very interesting to get to know.
I would happily recommend this book to friends and family, it’s a great read that you can whizz through with speed because you’re engrossed. It is definitely one that I enjoyed. The cover is so eye catching and perfectly coloured for a spring release. I’d definitely enjoy reading more by this author in the future.
