I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.
It is based in Ireland and follows the family life of the Gogartys: you have the working mum, the jobless dad, the older son at uni the twins, a little boy and their eccentric granny. Millie (granny) is such a character, I don't want to give too much away. Its a great easy read and I would recommend this to others to read. If you wish to read about the antics of Miller and her family check out this book! it all starts with a car accident that makes Millie's son realise that his mum needs help, so he hires a helper for her from American. While reading this I did wonder where the author was going with the story, but we follow Millie to an old people's home and even to they states! While this is happening we are also following one of the twin girls who has been sent to boarding school and trouble she gets up to there.
