The main characters of this book were likeable and real and you really felt part of the family . I love how the grandma Millie and the grand daughter Aideen became lost wayward souls together while the son/dad tried hard to keep everything on the right track.
The story was packed with humour and it was great fun to turn over another page and find out what they had done now. You could not help but have sympathy for the wrong doers .
This is a lovely feel good family values book and at the present time when we are unable to meet them in person it is lovely to read about the ties which keep the family members together and relate these to our own families .
The cover is bright and fun and depicts the storyline wonderfully and this book deserves a good curl up on the sofa for an afternoon or so of pure entertainment value with a cup of tea and a biscuit to dunk.
