What a perfect title for a book good eggs, because after getting to know each character in this book you understand how they are all good eggs even though they all have their own personality traits.
The main characters in the book are:
Millie 83-year-old grandmother
Kevin her a50-year-old stepson and
Aideen her 16-year-old grand daughter.
My favourite character was Millie. My own mum is is the same age and I could relate to Millie’s independent character. I loved how she made the most of life and it was a pleasure to see how her character was portrayed.
At first I wasn’t sure if this would be my kind of book but soon I was page turning as I enjoyed the story of each character and I really wanted to know what was going to happen next . The chapters were short which I really enjoyed and I loved the gentle humour that surrounded the whole story.
Each age and life experience brings their own struggles and I think this was brilliantly explored in the book .
Overall this was a gentle entertaining read. I look forward to reading more books by this author a great debut novel .
