I thought it was an interesting story from different people’s perspectives that all intertwine. it was easy to read and understand. there were funny moments but also moments of suspense and happiness, you truly experience every emotion when you read the book which i like.
it follows a grandmother/mother a son/father and a daughter/granddaughter all just going about their lives in dublin, ireland!!!!! The grandmother is working through a shoplifting addiction which is presented as comedic but is actually a conflict in the book with her son who is a worryer. the daughter also faces a conflict with her twin sister. i would honestly hate having a twin sister and constantly being compared to them it would be horrible so i guess i can sympathise with her.
overall i think it is a good book that has highs and lows and well developed characters however i don’t think i would be inclined to reread it
