I enjoy when a book has different character perspectives from the same family as it allows the reader to see situations and events from multiple sides. in the case of Good Eggs this is especially effective as it makes the story more inviting and interesting as we go from Millie to Kevin to Aideen. I found myself enjoying Millie’s chapters, she has a wonderful personality and an amazing sense of humour. Although a lot of humour is used throughout the book and amusing antics but there is also a real heart to Good Eggs, with some lovely poignant moments. i believe that in difficult times, you want to read a book that enables you to fell a sense of joy from it and this book does just that. All of the characters in the books have their own flaws and imperfections which makes it great to be able for the reader to relate to and form a bond with the characters while reading.
