This is a feel good book, the antics of three generations of the family had me laughing out loud at my points ( there is some sadness thrown in). Millie the mum and grandmother is the funniest by far with her forgetfulness and her funny little antics (very nearly getting arrested for shoplifting been one!!). Then there is Kevin the son and father recently unemployed and now full time stay at home parent ( he’s really quite good at it but he doesn’t think so) and his little go at trying to be unfaithful (doesn’t go quite how he thought). And lastly there is Aideen the fifteen year old daughter/ granddaughter who’s at a very tricky age thinking she’s not as pretty (has her twin) or as clever. She doesn’t quite seem to fit within her family, she’s sent to boarding school were things don’t go to plan there either, the hastily done trip with her grandmother really brings a good finish to this book.
