Unfortunately, I didn't love this book.
I found the characters rather unlikable and hard to relate to.
I liked the element of the telling from different generations of a family, but felt the timings didn't flow very well.
I felt that several parts of the plot could have been explored further.
The story has a lot of potential.
I enjoyed how the characters dialect was written with the Irish spin, this reminded me of my own Nan.
I felt like some of the chapters dragged on a little, and some of the words were a little complicated for me.
The chapters were well laid out, and I liked that the chapters were clearly marked with which characters story you were about to change to.
I also enjoyed that the story was not written in first person, despite being told from different family members sides.
A fairly quick read and would recommend for someone who wants a light hearted plot.
